Badong Yangtze River Highway Bridge is the giant bridge crossing the Yangtze River from 209 National Highway Shanxi Linfen to Hainan Sanya level highway. It is located in the Wu Gorge 72 km upstream of the Three Gorges Dam, north from Shennongxi Taijitou, a famous scenic spot, south to Xixiangpo area in the Badong New County. The bridge has a brand new design and a grand magnificence. It is a cable-stayed prestressed concrete bridge with twin towers and double cable plates. The total length is 2100 meters. The main bridge is 900.5 meters, and the main span is 388 meters. The width is 29 meters and the height is 212 meters, The first in Asia, the second in the world.
